We could all use a dose of art, blended with joy, and that's precisely what we have in store! Introducing the Main Street Mural Tour, featuring captivating 4' x 8' pop-up murals spread throughout Downtown Pryor. This enchanting tour kicks off on September 11th and prizes and winners announced September 21st at the Huckleberry Art & Music Festival. For $30 you can apply to be in the 2023 Main Street MURAL Tour!!! This helps cover your art board!!

WANT TO JOIN THE TOUR?

We are accepting applications from artists through Friday, August 8th. The Main Street Mural Tour is open to all artists, professional or just playing, and all ages too.

Artists must complete an application and submit an 8 1⁄2” x 11” rendering of their proposed mural. Artists whose designs are selected will be provided with a 4’ x 8’ plywood sheet for your “canvas”. An informational card will accompany each mural including the artist’s name and title of your mural.

All murals will be entered into the Judges Choice & People’s Choice Contest, with the winning mural artists each receiving a $250 cash prize sponsored by Traci Rabbit!

THE DETAILS

Selected artists will be contacted by Aug 8th, You are responsible for picking up your plywood sheet and returning it by Friday, Sept 8th,. Drop-off will be at Spot Nutrition - 2 S Adair St; Pryor OK.

All murals will be placed outdoors and must be weather resistant. Artists must be available for touch-ups that might be required during the Tour.

THE FINE PRINT

Artwork CANNOT include political statements, profanity, nudity, logos, QR codes, religious symbols, libel, slander, or social disrespect. In short, let’s BE KIND!

If your design is selected, it becomes the property of Pryor Main Street. Pryor Main Street reserves the right to use your design for the purpose of promoting the event through, but not limited to, social media, print advertising, and media releases.
